Hello new friends, old friends and fellow SmugMug shutterbugs:D My name is Lynn Davis and I own and operate Studio Pacific Photography in the beautiful, seaside town of Brookings, Oregon.
I hope you enjoy your time spent looking through my galleries - please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions or comments, or would like to book a shoot. (My site has only been up for a few days now, so please check back often to see the new additions. Much of my favorite work is on slides and film and thus, needs to be found and then scanned before adding it to the site.)
Within the next week or two, I will be adding quite a bit of photography in the areas of modeling and theatre (including several Chetco Pelican Player productions and last year's award ceremony), as well as many community events I have covered for the Curry Coastal Pilot over the past 8 years.
In a nutshell, I love everything about photography. Especially fascinating to me, is the uber-creative worlds of modeling, theatre, rock-n-roll, dance, and basically, artistic expression of any kind. "Portraiture with an edge" is what I really want to do more of. Other favorite areas include Candid photography and Photojournalism. Taking photos when the subject is unaware of the camera provides such a unique opportunity for you to really catch the truth and the emotion in that moment.
Over the past decade, I have been fortunate to have my photography recognized with awards, and published on both local and National levels. I have fourteen years experience as a professional model in front of the camera, and look forward to adding on to the more than ten years I have spent as an enthusiastic photographer behind it.
